Cross-curricular goals

Students will work on various parts of this project in their math, science, engineering, and arts courses to understand CO2 emissions, their impact on the climate, and solutions to reduce CO2 emissions to combat climate change.   Students will study and research the math behind CO2 emissions and their impacts, the scientific effect of greenhouse gases, and solutions to the problem with biology (plants) and engineering (machine).  In addition, students will make posters to raise awareness around CO2 emissions and solutions in their arts classes.   Taken together, students will learn about CO2 emissions and climate change with an emphasis on problem-solving to develop solutions to tackle CO2 emissions as a critical component of tackling the global problem of climate change.
